The Best Gift Ever

We service many customers who are in the 55+ age group and when asked what they want for Christmas or prefer as a gift, the answers are often the same: time with my family. And just as often, it is time that is the least given, especially to seniors.
Holiday Chaos
The chaos that surrounds the holiday season often keeps us from thinking about spending more time with elderly family members, but even during normal times of the year, there is a huge lack of quality visits with them. It doesn’t matter whether or not they are in their own home or an assisted living facility, the needs of a senior parent or grandparent are the same. Here are some things to consider:
T = TRUE effort to make a visit special
I = INDIVIDUAL one-on-one conversations
M = MEMORIES made that are priceless
E = EXPERIENCES that will be cherished by everyone

Make Time To Listen
When shopping for all those special Christmas gifts, remember that TIME is something totally free, given from the heart and needed so much by so many, especially this year. Not only do seniors need this, but so many others have lost loved ones, their homes, their incomes, or their health. This year has been difficult in many ways. We can all give the gift of time by reaching out to someone in need. They might just need someone to listen and care.
May you have a very Merry Christmas filled with many blessings!
